Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI), the first institution of its kind to focus research solely on the health of women and infants, has emerged as a world leader in gender-specific research. The MWRI approach transcends the basic boys vs. girls argument and recognizes that men and women are indeed very different, well beyond the obvious reproductive variables — right down to the cellular and molecular levels. Women are different, and so is the research we do. |
