Meadows Standardbred Owners Association announces Magee charity fundraiser

The Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) is pleased to announce a charity fundraising event Wednesday, October 31 that will benefit the Breast Cancer Program at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. The races start at 6:55 p.m.

There will be three special races that evening and horses and carts donned in pink. Races include: a race with all female drivers, one with all male drivers, and one all-female race under saddle. All proceeds from the female and male drivers races will be donated to Magee. In addition, 20 percent of the all female under saddle race will be donated.

All guests are welcome to join us at the Bistecca Suite for a great view of the races, food, and a cash bar. Silpada jewelry will also be present and will donate 20 percent of their sales to Magee.

In addition, The Meadows Racetrack and Casino will match the horsemen’s contribution, doubling the benefit for breast cancer patient care, education, and research at Magee.
