Huang Research Group

Principal Investigator: Xin Huang, PhD

One of the major interests of the Huang lab is the pursuit of biomarkers that can diagnose ovarian cancer early and predict outcomes of ovarian cancer patients. The lab also studies the function of a hypoxia-inducible microRNA, miR-210, in ovarian cancer, because miR-210 is lost in high frequency among ovarian cancer patients, suggesting that miR-210 may be a tumor suppressor.
